| Mullica Hill Quilt Company’s Courtyard Quarterly Volume 1, Number 1 Spring 2007 "Supplying the Fabric of Our Heritage" Hello New Friends! Welcome to the very first of what I hope will be many quarterly newsletters from Mullica Hill Quilt Company. My first order of business is to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to each and every one of you who have honored me with your presence, well wishes, and patronage. I could not have asked for a better reception and it is my hope that the shop will grow and become a shop that all of you will continue to want to patronize well into the future. We have been as busy as bees around here and I am thrilled to let you know that we have opened our classroom. We were able to have it up and running on March 17th in honor of National Quilting Day. Although the weather was pretty awful, I have to say it was very cozy in the shop on that day. The official name of our classroom is, "The Playroom" and I hope to spend many hours doing just that, playing, with all of you. Class rosters have now taken priority and I have been speaking and meeting with our instructors. I am very pleased with the offerings thus far and even more excited about what will be coming and how creative these wonderfully talented people are. The roster is posted on the classes and events page. Make sure to check our website often for upcoming events. Mullica Hill is a wonderful place to have located my business and there are a lot of fun events scheduled over the next few months. We would love to see you enjoying them with your families. If you will indulge me, I'd like to take the liberty here of thanking a few people, whom without, this business would have been impossible to launch. You have probably seen them here. One is my friend, Debbie. All I can say is that there could be no truer friend. She has been a constant source of encouragement and she can lift heavy stuff and use tools like no guy I've ever seen. She's not a bad quilter, fabric cutter, and kit maker either. You go girl! My mom, Janet has spent many hours checking in inventory, cutting fat quarters, and picking my daughter up from school. I am forever grateful. Rob, the best website guy ever! Steve, the lighting guru, you rock! I know many of you have had the opportunity to meet my husband, Bruce. Well, yes, it is true, he is Mr. Wright. And then there is Meghan, my daughter, behind the scenes but right up front in my heart. Love to you all, Annette Just a couple more thank you’s to some new, treasured friends.
