Bringing us a beautiful civil war inspired quilt by pattern designers Bonnie Blue Quilts this piece is simply beautiful. Inspired by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's 1847 poem by the same name, this quilt represents the long search for Evangeline's husband. After a lifetime of looking for him, finally finding him at his life's end and dying in Evangeline's arms. Such a tragic love story and such a beautiful interpretation.
