We had a terrific spring and enjoyed meeting so many new customers during the NJ Shop Hop this year. We were honored to be a participant in this top-notch quilting event and hope that those of you who “hopped” had a great time! We know that you found all the best in quilting as you visited the premier quilt shops in New Jersey. We hope to see you on September 17th for the Shelter from the Storm Dinner and Fashion Show. This event promises to be the “must attend” event of the season and all the proceeds from it benefit all the good works of Shelter from the Storm. Masso’ s in Glassboro is the venue for the event and the fashions are being provided by, Marlene’s of Collingswood. Tickets are $45. and are available for purchase in the shop. If you are interested in sponsoring a table, making a donation, volunteering to help, or attending, please stop in and we will provide you with all of the details. We would like to extend a warm welcome to Sara Cobb who will be a new instructor in the shop beginning with this summer session of classes. Sara brings a fresh set of “sewing” classes to the shop. She will be teaching clothing construction, bags and purses, household decorator items, and more. We are looking forward to having her and are excited about opening up the schedule to include some of the exciting things happening in the world of sewing. We will be celebrating the start of summer with a great line-up of new classes. We welcome you to join us at our Hot Diggity Dog Sign-Up Saturday Open House on Saturday, June 19th from 11 am – 4 pm. We will be offering hot dogs with all the fixins’, chips, cookies, and cold drinks. We hope that you can stop on by to meet our instructors, see the new class samples, and enjoy some eats. We will be offering 10% off class fees for any sign-ups on this special day as well as 15% off fabric purchased for classes. Hope to see you here! And while we’re welcoming summer we might as well tip our hats to a taste of fall and winter. Yes, our 2010 Holiday fabrics are beginning to arrive and you can help yourself to a peek at all the beautiful lines coming in. Who knows? Maybe that summer class will yield a holiday quilt.
